As we embrace the significance of Black History Month, we are thrilled to announce a month-long celebration that not only honors the rich heritage of the African American community but also emphasizes the unity and diversity within our congregation.

Throughout the month of February, we have planned special activities that encourage us to come together, celebrate our unique identities, and strengthen the bond of fellowship. Here's a brief overview of our themed Sundays:

Heart Awareness Sunday - February 4th

Wear Red to Support Heart Awareness Month

On the first Sunday of February, let's kick off the month by wearing red in support of Heart Awareness Month. As we celebrate our history, let's also take a moment to focus on the health of our hearts – both physically and spiritually.

Super Bowl Sunday - February 11th

Wear Your Favorite Team Jersey

Join us on the second Sunday for Super Bowl Sunday! Wear your favorite team's jersey, and let's enjoy the camaraderie of sportsmanship. As we celebrate Black History Month, let's also revel in the joy that shared interests and friendly competition can bring.

Traditional African Attire Sunday - February 18th

Wear Your Traditional African Attire

On the third Sunday, let's showcase the diversity of our heritage by wearing traditional African attire. Whether it's vibrant prints, elegant fabrics, or symbolic accessories, let's come together in a tapestry of colors and patterns that reflect the beauty of our collective roots.

Western Attire Sunday - February 25th

Wear Western Attire with Pride

To conclude our month-long celebration, let's embrace the diversity of our church family by wearing western attire on the fourth Sunday. Cowboy boots, denim, or western-inspired accessories – let your creativity shine as we come together in unity, celebrating the various aspects of our shared identity.

We encourage everyone to actively participate in these themed Sundays, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and celebration. Let us use this special month to deepen our understanding, strengthen our bonds, and rejoice in the beauty of our diverse and united community.

Join us this Sunday morning for a special service where we will be installing officers into their positions in their respective ministries. It is a time of celebration and recognition as we honor those who have been called to serve in leadership roles within our church community. During the service, our pastor will lead a meaningful ceremony, affirming the commitment and dedication of these individuals as they step into their new roles. The installation will be a symbolic act, signifying the transfer of authority and responsibility
